Description of treatment facilities.


Complete - block treatment facilities "RostInprom - BS MEGA" are rectangular tanks made of polyethylene, inside of which sections are formed - wastewater treatment zones.

The purification technology used in the RostInprom - BS MEGA modular plants provides for a six - stage wastewater treatment with the passage of denitrification, nitrification zones, as well as a zone of preliminary septic sedimentation.

The units use fine bubble aerators with a high oxygen mass transfer coefficient;

The rectangular shape of the treatment facilities contributes to the uniform distribution of wastewater over the treatment zones, ensures high efficiency of biological treatment processes due to the uniform distribution of aeration flares and the absence of stagnant zones, as well as a high volume utilization factor (in comparison with cylindrical tanks).

The presence of an internal circulation of a nitrate - containing liquid ensures the denitrification process, and also contributes to an increase in the species diversity of activated sludge.

The installations use polymeric biomass carriers with an increased surface area to anchor the microbial community.

The volume of storage equipment, which ensures the required duration of the wastewater stay in the oxidation and reduction zones, guarantees a high purification efficiency in terms of biogenic substances.

The introduction of advanced technological solutions for wastewater treatment, effective treatment facilities aimed at reducing the levels of environmental impact allow the use of block - modular plants "RostInprom - BS MEGA" in the cramped conditions of dense buildings.  

Composition of treatment facilities:


1. Averager

The balancing device allows to reduce the volume of facilities and, accordingly, the cost of a complex of treatment facilities for averaging the peak discharge of wastewater. Waste water enters the homogenizer, after which it is supplied for treatment with a flow not exceeding 3.3 / hour. A continuous supply of wastewater is provided, which guarantees the stable operation of the biological treatment complex. To supply wastewater for treatment, 2 pumps are provided. A sludge mixing system is provided.

The homogenizer is made of polyethylene and is a separate unit in the complex of treatment facilities.

2. Biological treatment unit


In the sump, suspended solids are deposited to supply wastewater to the biological treatment unit

Biological treatment unit.

The biological treatment unit includes a denitrifier and a nitrifying aeration tank.

In the denitrifier , the process of reduction of nitrates and nitrites to free gaseous nitrogen takes place, which is blown into the atmosphere in the aeration tank - nitrifier. The substrate for the life of denitrifying microorganisms is the original wastewater.

A sludge mixing system is provided.

In the nitrifying aeration tank , biological wastewater treatment is carried out using activated sludge with constant aeration. In the process of biological treatment, organic substances and ammonium nitrogen in the wastewater are oxidized by activated sludge microorganisms. The aeration tank - nitrifier is equipped with a fine - bubble aeration system made of membrane aerators, as well as an activated sludge circulation system to intensify mass transfer processes.

Depending on the concentration of wastewater, one or two circuits for recirculation of a nitrate - containing sludge mixture are arranged in the biological treatment unit.

Secondary settling tank.

The secondary clarifier is designed to separate the sludge mixture into activated sludge and purified water. The structure is a vertical, rectangular tank.

Post - treatment bioreactor.

Wastewater treatment in a bioreactor is based on the application of a biological treatment method using a community of free - floating and attached biomass.

For the immobilization of microflora in the bioreactor, a ruff loading is used. A fine - bubble aeration system from membrane aerators is used to oxygenate the wastewater. Provides for periodic regeneration of the ruffs with an intensive supply of compressed air. Wastewater recirculation from the end of the bioreactor to the beginning is provided.

Disposal of sludge.

Excess activated sludge is transported to the sludge pads for disposal.  



To remove phosphates from wastewater and extinguish foam formed as a result of the presence of synthetic surfactants in wastewater, separate sets of reagent facilities are provided: a container, a mixer, a dosing pump for dosing into a coagulant.
