Trays (substrates) from the made foam polystyrene are used usually in total with a film of PVC (PVC) as a packing material for meat, fish and a bird and their semi-finished products, delicacies, fruit, vegetables, mushrooms, nuts, berries, dried fruits.

Flavoring and nutritious properties remain in such packing due to warm and barrier properties of a tray longer. In packing temperature does not give in to so sharp differences – and it is an essential factor when transporting foodstuff as guarantees delivery of production with the smallest losses.

Packing of a product in a tray – the process which is not demanding special skill: the product is put on the tray suitable in a form and the size and is wrapped in a PVC film. Due to the "stretching" properties, the PVC film fits a tray and a product in it tightly, providing reliable protection against external influences, safety of tastes and a trade dress of a product.
