On February 23, 1944 the State Enterprise for Fuel Moldavian was formed by the Soviet Socialist Republic which in 1995 was reorganized into JSC Tireks Petrol.
In 2000 82 stocks owned by the state were acquired by the Swiss company Mabanaft Moldova GmbH which is a part of the German oil holding Marquard & Bahls AG.
Now JSC JV Tireks Petrol is the modern, dynamically developing company in the market of oil products of Moldova which primary activities are: import, wholesale and retail trade, and also storage of oil products.
