Description
Armored glass (English wired glass) is a flat sheet glass with the metal, built-in in it grid with square, more rare hexagonal cells. Armored glass can be polished (the reinforced polished glass), can have one cast crude surface (cast armored glass) or to be translucent with a grid in the form of hexagons (rolling figured armored glass). Armored glass is applied at a glazing as fire-resistant and safety glass. At the fire armored glass can burst, however the reinforcing grid will hold it on the place, thereby having prevented spread of fire. Splinters of armored glass will not drop out even on condition of formation of several breaks.
