The temperature-controlled gate or TRV regulate a coolant overheat at the exit from the evaporator. They carry out function of a throttle between the parties of a low and high pressure in refrigerating systems and provide compliance of speed of the expiration of coolant of speed of evaporation of liquid in the evaporator. Thus, the surface of the evaporator can be used completely, and liquid at the same time does not come to the compressor.
