Slanting inlay

Slanting inlay - the band with in advance turned in allowances made of the fabric cut at an angle 45o that allows to stack further it on the rounded-off cuts without folds and distortions. The slanting inlay practically from any fabric suitable on density and materials is produced, connection of strips of an inlay slanting is carried out by both a chain, and shuttle stitch. By means of a special pad open cuts of a product are ground by a slanting inlay that is rather easy way to give to edges an equal and accurate look. Traditionally, the slanting inlay is used for finishing and a covering of seams: for processing of onboard cuts, a mouth, an armhole, a bottom of sleeves of women's clothing, production of a trouser corsage, decorative processing, etc.
