Polyfoam is steady against influence of bacteria and fungi, salt solutions, cement, the alkalis divorced and weak acids, fertilizers, bitumen, alcohols and water-soluble paints, and also is not a nutrient medium for rodents.
Tests of polyfoam speak about decent durability on compression and a bend that allows to speak about constructional qualities of material. The newest brands of hi-tech penopolistirol of big density assume replacement of some grades of plastic with polyfoam that guarantees decrease in emissions of harmful substances in the atmosphere which are so big by production of various polymers and plastics.
Polyfoam does not sag in a wall after warming after a while as possesses some bearing properties, and respectively does not form so-called "bridges of cold" which sharply lower degree of a heat-shielding and a noise isolation of the built building.
