Milled rice

Rice can differ also on extent of processing, that is to be shelushenny or polished. At shelushenny rice at preliminary cleaning only the peel, a blanket whereas polished rice is carefully polished is removed, losing at the same time seedings and sprouts. For this reason polished rice often call "dead", not capable to germination. "Live" shelushenny rice unlike it can sprout if to place it in the soil and to provide with sufficient heat and moisture. Therefore, from the point of view of the content of nutrients, shelushenny rice is more preferable.
