Secret stitches with Groz-Beckert V-needles — the most essential often is invisible.

Production of a secret seam outside of invisible, often, is very problematic. With development of needles of Groz-Beckert with a tetrahedral core (V-needle) — possibilities of a combination of stability of a needle and the sparing treatment of material were open. The tetrahedral core of needles for making of a secret line has bigger rigidity on a bend, than a standard needle with round section (with an identical weight).

Static test of comparison of identical loading is shown the smaller deviation of V-needles is considerable.

In the course of sewing these indicators correspond to functions of a needle. Resistance to bending of a V-needle No. 65 reaches resistance of a standard needle for secret stitches No. 80. Thus, in many cases where earlier stabler needle with round section undertook, but bigger number (No. 80) — Groz-Beckert No. 65 V-needle can be used. And the V-needle for secret lines No. 80 is comparable on stability with a needle with a round core No. 90.

Thinner V-needles demand much less area at a material puncture. Thereby, at identical stability of a needle, they stretch less or displace fibers of fabrics when making a secret line, than needle with a round core. There is possible an execution of a secret seam on thin and critical materials without marking traces.

Replacement on the sewing equipment of a standard needle, a needle with the tetrahedral section of a core of the same thickness — ensures increase in terms of work of a needle and safety of operation of the machine.

V-needle in direct comparison with a standard needle with a round core: resistance to force of a bend increases at needles No. 65 by 38%, at needles with No. 90 — for 60%.

Puncture ratio

When performing function of a secret stitch, not only the hardness and durability of a needle, but also closely syazany with them are important: form and position of an edge of a needle. Material has to be punctured as it is possible closer to a surface and parallel to it. In order that it is correct to distribute material fibers, it is necessary to have very thin eccentric and round edge of a needle.

The Eagle Groz-Beckert accepts a loop. The fibers divided by a thin edge twist a needle core.

Needles for secret stitches with a certain restriction are offered also with a ball edge. But they are not intended for the correct secret stitch. The needle with a ball edge interferes with separation of fibers from fabric. The deviation of a seam and the admission of a stitch — will be inevitable.

Because of a round edge the needle is taken away without loop back. The empty stitch was as a result formed.

At a certain processing of knitted products (for example, in a sleeve on semi-beliefs), just such effect is used. At the same time a round edge make for receiving a strong seam purposely punctures which are, as a rule, located parallel to the direction of a loop and therefore are a little noticeable.

The edge in the form of a ball looks for the correct place of a puncture in material and, as a result, there are traces of punctures.
