Eder syrup

Indications to use:

– the acute infectious and inflammatory respiratory diseases which are followed by cough (dry, wet) and the catarral phenomena;
– symptomatic treatment of chronic nonspecific diseases of lungs.

To adults and children 10 years are more senior: the recommended dose of 5 ml of syrup 3 times a day.

To children aged from 6 till 9 flyings: the recommended dose of 5 ml of syrup 3 times a day.

To small children aged from 1 till 6 flyings: the recommended dose of 2,5 ml of syrup 3 times a day.

Pharmacodynamics:

Extract of leaves of an ivy which therapeutic effect was proved pharmacological and confirmed therapeutic at inflammatory respiratory diseases is shown thanks to sekretolitichesky, mucolytic, mukokinetichesky, spasmolytic properties of the glycosides (saponins) which are its part. The Sekretolitichesky effect of extract is provided due to action of the saponinovy glycosides which are contained in ivy leaves; the adrenergic effect is caused by stimulation _{β2-адренорецепторов} smooth muscle structures of a bronchial tree and an epithelial vystilka of lungs. It leads to reduction of hit in cells of bronchial tubes of ions ^{of Ca2 +} and to a bronkhodilatation. At the same time with stimulation _{β2-адренорецепторов}, alveolar epithelial cells like II cause secretion of a large amount of surfactant. Use of drug does not oppress a respiratory center.
