Systems of floor heating of MULTIBETON (MV) based on special technology of laying of a water heat-insulated floor MULTIBETON ® are applied both to heating of rooms, and to "silent cooling". At the same time the new concept entered by the company, so-called "climatic surfaces of MV" as which both a floor and walls, and a ceiling of rooms can act is used.
Climatic surfaces of MV are developed on the basis of long-term experience in area of heating of a floor and other surfaces by means of systems of heating which are made by MULTIBETON since the end of the 60th years.
Climatic surfaces of MV - the modern technical concept providing a pleasant microclimate indoors. Scopes of climatic surfaces of MV are both houses, and office and production rooms.
Floor - a climatic surface of MV
The heating system of a floor of MULTIBETON which is based on the theory of thermal modulation (MV modulation) can be used as the cooling system. The system is very convenient and economic as its use requires only the computer-controlled unit filled with cold water or the reversive thermal pump.
As well as in case of use of a heating system of a floor of MULTIBETON, in a case when the system works for cooling, we give cold there where it is most necessary - in a boundary zone of external walls and by that we reduce amount of the getting warm air. Modulation of MV is ideally suited for cooling of space. Thanks to more dense laying of pipes on boundary sites there is an optimum absorption of heat and as result, "silent cooling" at very small convection of thermal streams and preservation of relative humidity of air.
Proceeding from physical properties, refrigerating capacity assessment on the basis of the increased amplitude of differences of temperatures is possible. By means of regulators of cooling of a surface it is possible to control a microclimate of certain rooms.
Experience of use of such systems was initially based on installation of several hundred systems installed in the south of France. When using MULTIBETON cooling systems decrease in temperature in rooms on 7-8 ºС (at an external temperature 32 ºС, internal made 25 ºС) was reached. This difference of temperatures is very comfortable for the person.
The complex system of superficial heating and cooling of MULTIBETON is extremely favorable as from the very beginning the company offers complex (double) system of superficial heating and cooling. In the course of installation of system of a water heat-insulated floor the climatic surface of MV is at the same time mounted so that subsequently power installation could be modified easily. It is very economic, especially in comparison with traditional air conditioning.

Cooling special (resistant to hydrochloric solutions) pipe MV creates an effective zone of climatic surfaces of MV. The weight of system is from 5 to 15 kg/sq.m. Density of laying of pipes depends on the set cooling system loading. High refrigerating capacity is reached due to use of this system. Temperature in the giving pipeline of all MV climatic systems can be controlled by means of the thermostat supplied with the humidity sensor (the speaker as a sensor of "dew point") for prevention of condensation of moisture.
Thus, decrease in air temperature indoors on 7-8 ºС in comparison with external air temperature is reached. At a combination of cooling of a floor and a ceiling productivity and system effectiveness increase. At the same time extent of cooling depends on the following factors:
- The maximum decrease in room temperature depending on ambient temperature
- Minimum admissible temperature of a surface of a floor and ceiling
- Optimum relative humidity of air indoors.
Now cooling not only offices, big halls, shops, etc., but also rooms in which it is necessary to avoid a raising of dust, such as server halls and data-centers, sterile rooms, scientific laboratories, operational and rehabilitation chambers, manufacturing enterprises with automated management is possible. The system is also ideally suited for use in luxury hotels which are eager to provide to the clients silent cooling without drafts.
