Cases of the automatic input of a reserve (AIR)

Devices of the automatic inclusion of a reserve (AIR) are intended for automatic switching of power supply from the main feeding input on reserve, in case of malfunction of the first.

Functions

Depending on structure of the AVR components provides the following functions:

• choice of the main and reserve power supply;
• monitoring of food from the main source;
• monitoring of food from a reserve source;
• translation of load of the reserve power supply in a case of malfunction of the basic;
• the translation of load of the main source of food in case of restoration of its serviceability;
• adjustable delay of direct and return switching;
• shutdown of all sources in a case of malfunction of the equipment (short circuit, overload);

Monitoring of a condition of sources provides the relay of tension and a distortion of phases, intended for protection of three-phase consumers against main types of accident in electric network, such as:

• exit of the operating value of tension out of limits of admissible thresholds;
• violations of alternation and adhesion of phases;
• violations of full-staging and symmetry of mains voltage.

Main components

The structure of AVR depends on a control algorithm and is formed individually according to requirements of the customer. The AVR main components are:

• automatic switches (with motor drives and without them);
• contactors;
• relay of tension and distortion of phases;
• industrial relays;
• devices of submission of commands and signals;
• plugs are screw;
• case metal.

Operating modes mode

The case of AVR ensures functioning in two modes - "Manual" and "Automatic".

• Automatic - the system exercises automatic control of switching of power supplies according to signals of the relay of tension and a distortion of phases.
• Manual - is intended for the compulsory choice of the working power supply in independence of its serviceability. This mode is used at the first start-up and at malfunction of components of automatic equipment.
