Description
Canned food (from armor. conservo — I keep) — foodstuff of an animal or a phytogenesis which were subjected to conservation and packing for the purpose of long storage without damage. The French cook Nicolas Apper is considered the inventor of conservation.
In a broad sense, the definition of canned food is fitted by any products which as a result of preparation found property not to spoil a long time. At the same time under concept of canned food also emergency storages — salty cabbage, cucumbers, fish, dried mushrooms, smoked meat, etc. get.
