Application of a formiat of calcium.
Calcium formiat it is used as additive in dry construction mixes for acceleration of process of hardening or as antifrosty additive in concrete, it provides its curing at air temperature to minus 15 °C. Formiat of calcium apply at production of a portlandtsement, concrete, floors, plaster and tiled glue. Also it is used when dyeing skin and in production of formic acid.
Food formiat calcium preservative, a hardener, E238 salt substitute is known as nutritional supplement.
