Bulk floors for industrial facilities.
The main requirements imposed to industrial floors are: • resistance to abrasive wear; • resistance to shock influences; • resistance to high mechanical loadings; • resistance to chemically aggressive substances (solutions of salts, acids, alkalis); • resistance to thermal loadings; • impermeability for liquids; • ease of cleaning and service; • durability of operation.
Polyurethane bulk floors meet all these requirements.
Polyurethane coverings are applied to rooms with high mechanical loadings and high intensity of influence of liquids, and also rooms with rigid abrasive and chemical loadings.
Polyurethane coverings have high mechanical durability on compression and stretching, high chemical resistance to all silnoagressivny environments, a low istirayemost, elasticity. Coverings on a polyurethane basis in use maintain high differences of temperatures and big shock loadings. They perfectly proved at the device in garages of the inclined ramps subjected in winter time to influence of studded rubber, automobile wheels with antisliding chains, etc.
Polymeric systems are divided by thickness and extent of filling on: • 1. Thin layer or painting (the low-filled systems up to 1,0 mm thick). • 2. The bulk or self-leveled floors (thickness to 4-5 mm, extent of filling on weight - to 50%). • 3. High-filled (thickness of 4-8 mm, a maximum to 20 mm, extent of filling on weight - to 90%).
Thin layer coverings find application when the bystry, economic and reliable decision on the floor device, a bespylnost is necessary. The self-leveled and high-filled floors are applied in those rooms to which increased requirements to appearance, resistance to abrasive wear, the movement of vehicles, elasticity and any other requirements are imposed.
