Description
On the nutritional value and caloric content the barley rich with protein (to 14%), starch (to 55%) and cellulose (4-5%), surpasses such cereals as rye, oats and wheat.
It should be noted that barley contains in the structure a unique set important for an organism macro - and minerals (potassium, calcium, phosphorus, iron, copper, zinc, manganese, nickel, molybdenum, cobalt, strontium, iodine, chrome, bromine) and vitamins (And, E, D, B1, B2, B3). Vitamin A helps sight and protection against infections, vitamins of group B contribute to normalization of work of nervous system and to maintenance of beauty of skin and a hair, vitamin E is capable to prevent presenilation, and vitamin D in combination with calcium and phosphorus is very effective for strengthening of bone and cartilaginous tissue.
