Roller bearings after receipt to you from manufacturer should remain in packagings of that plant. Not to make opening at all. You should not clean the corrosion lubricant owning excellent lubricant properties which bearings were smeared on production, as a rule. Only from high-precision ball bearings of the small sizes it is desirable to clean corrosion lubricant before installation from - for fears that it can be too "firm" in work. It is the best of all to apply benzene to cleaning of bearings (with care) or gasoline. Also dehydrated high cleaning kerosene is allowed. When cleaning bearings third-party (liquids or suds) their full elimination is made by strongly compressed air. Long it is not necessary to leave the cleared bearings dry, they should be greased. With lubricant all bearing surfaces and especially internal are obliged to be put.
