Atsesulfam of E950 Potassium

Atsesulfam Kaliya  —  sweetener   of a sulfamidnogoryad , colourless crystals, easily soluble in water, is about 200 times more sweet  than sucrose  (traditional culinary sugar).

Like  the saccharin which is also sulphamide, atsesulfa in high concentration has bitterish and metal smack therefore it is often used in a combination with  aspartame .

It is used for a podslashcheniye of carbonated drinks, at production  of pastries ,  gelatinous   desserts  and  chewing gum , it is also used as sweetener of some dosage forms (syrups).

It is approved to use in  carbonated drinks  in  1998   by the American   Management on control of products and drugs .
